'Stephanie Green is a large, green painting with a vibrancy and illumination so much so it even glows in the dark. It has a multitude of green shades making up the many layers, with a little pink, blue and violet for interest. I painted around these contrasting colours leaving shapes that appear to represent pots, plants, jugs and other receptables. Stephanie was my mother's name and as she was passionate about plants it seemed appropriate and a nice thing to do to include her name in the title. The colour green is associated with nature and the environment as well as freshness, renewal and hope. Hence "Stephanie Green."'
